Searching for the meaning of life
Creating abstract compositions is for me a way to externalize an internal assembly of ideas, questions, emotions, and images. I’m passionate about exploring the meaning of life, trying to find one’s goal, and hopefully inspiring other people through my work.

Influenced by the mediterranean sea
The bright colors of the country where I live, Malta, have an important influence on my works (the blue sea, the yellow limestone, and the bright sky). The strong winter storms in particular have a fantastic energetic impact.
Textured and sculptural elements
While my main focus is on a mix of charcoal & acrylic, I often like to paint with my hands or with a spatula to create relief, add different materials or create holes to provide sculptural dimension, or sew & collage to generate unexpected results.
